I'm a little late posting this. Towards the beginning of the summer I attended the Max the Mutt Animation School's Industry Night on behalf of Six Aces Productions. I was invited by the very friendly Max the Mutt staff and Toon Boom, who demonstrated their new software at the event which was presented by Sebastien Miglio and Jean LeChance. It was great to meet their group of very energetic students and see their work while chowing down on some awesome food that they had prepared. Wedding and Dusting Off Old Artwork

I'm pushing to get my butt back into posting things again, but what happens when you're away to Manitoba for a wedding and swamped working on developing company pitch work??? You get this week's theme of embarrassing myself with old artwork! As I've mentioned before Six Aces Productions has many things on the go at once. Two such things are a new show concept with action adventure for young boys and girls and a preschool educational show for their baby brothers and sisters. Last week my girlfriend and I traveled to Manitoba for my middle brother's wedding. It had it all...tons of food, line dancing, constant running of errands and great time spent with family. When your back home you sometimes stumble upon old artwork that you hoped would never see the light of day again. So I blew off the dust and posted them for all to see...you can check them out in the postings below.

Here are two pages from a comic book I created back in Grade.6 with a student from Grade.2 for a combined writing project. The assignment was to pair up with a student in that younger grade and create a story book together. We both created the concept and story and I drew it in comic book form. I grabbed any opportunity in middle school to do assignments in artwork form to grab extra marks, which boosted my suffering grammar, spelling and formatting marks hahaha.

Just before the end of 2007 I worked on another project with Dan Clements of Chakra Films. The first project I was lucky enough to create rough boards for a live action student film rendition of Robert Munsch's book "Love You Forever". This next project was an original piece titled "Patient" where I created more rough boards for the live action short film. I wasn't on site so I just worked from a script, my own researched reference and proposed shot list to get the ideas drawn up. Here are some of the rough boards I've tried to match up with stills I was sent after filming.
